Awakening: The Golden Age HD - A Magical Hidden Objects Game 9+

I love playing all of the games in this series and I am an older adult. For me, the games and flow are just challenging enough without making me do too many mental gymnastics.

This one does not have many links to the other games other than look and feel. The one thing that annoyed me is having to click through the pre-story EVERY time before getting to the login screen to play. That is what reduced my rating to 4 stars. Otherwise, it is a fun and straightforward game, pretty much what I expect from this design team. Would like to know of other BOOMZAP designed games.

Game was way too short and the last puzzle was awful. You couldn't see anything even with the all seeing eye. I would have enjoyed it more if it was better tied into the awakening series. I know this was before but who was the main character to this story? Maybe if it had been further detailed into why dreadmear is the way he is other then"if I can't be king no one can" and the purple haze around him being the only clue that it was Dreadmear (obviously that's not his name in the story, I'm not even sure if it's supposed to be him) the story would have improved a lot. Also no bonus chapter... The hints were also terrible. No direction at all. Some of the hints were also incorrect. I had to reference the strategy guide to back track and figure out where to go next. I absolutely love the Awakening series, but this was way way off. BF should set a higher standard to be a game incorporated with this.

It was a bit short. (An achievement was finishing under 6 hours? Really? A real achievement would be it taking longer than 4.) I've played all the others and very happy, I thought as they progress the games would get longer and more in depth. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, a good story, fun (although super easy) mini games. I had just one glitch and it was fixed as easy as exiting the game and restarting. I wish there had been more extras, it was kind of like "oh, it's over. Ok. 😒" Nothing wrong with it, I just expected more at this point in the series. I'd buy it again though for sure.
