iDiscGolf is an application designed to provide disc golfers an all in one mobile solution to enhance the overall experience.

With iDiscGolf users can keep track of a seemingly unlimited number of golfers, courses, and rounds.

Want to find new courses to play on or simply download course data from your favorite course? Search a database of known courses in a variety of ways to find exactly what your looking for.

When searching by location, you can either find nearby courses or if you're planing a trip, provide a starting location and discover courses within a given radius of that location.

If you already know of the course you want to add to your collection, search for it by name!

Search results will include ratings and reviews from other iDiscGolf users. If there aren't any ratings for a course, try it out and be the first one to leave a review for others to read!

Once you've found a course you'd like to play on, you have the option to download ready to play course data. While not all course data is guaranteed to be accurate or complete, in most cases it will serve as an excellent starting point for a new round. This data will be modified from time to time, so check any courses you download occasionally for updates.

If for some reason you can't find existing course data for a given course, you can create a new course which will be stored locally on the device.

Ready to play? Start a new round or continue a previous one. While playing you can easily navigate from one hole to the next. You can also use iDiscGolf's Hole Launcher to jump from a hole at the beginning of the course to one at the end without having to navigate through all those in-between.

If you want to get a good overview of the round in progress, check out iDiscGolf's Score Card. The Score Card for iDiscGolf was designed specifically to accommodate as many golfers as you can throw at it. A typical 18 hole course will use two pages of 9 holes, while the Score Card is capable of handling "Course Configurations" with up to 99 "Hole Configurations".

iDiscGolf has two terms which may initially be confusing to some but will soon prove to be a very powerful concept.

Instead of treating each Course as a collection of Holes, iDiscGolf treats each Course as having one or more "Course Configurations", each of which consists of one or more "Hole Configurations".

Before we look at those two terms, lets note that each Hole as we know it has at least one real-world physical Basket and one real-world physical Tee, all of which have a real-world location associated with them. Some courses will have multiple Tees and potentially multiple Baskets per Hole. So, a Course of 18 holes could have a total of 36 physical Tees but only 18 physical Baskets. This is where "Hole Configurations" come into play.

What is a Hole Configuration you may be asking? A Hole Configuration is simply a pairing of a physical Tee with a physical Basket. Each Hole Configuration has a corresponding par and distance associated with it.

A Course Configuration is simply a collection of Hole Configurations arranged in a specific order.

When you create a Round in iDiscGolf, you will have the option to edit the Round's Course Configuration.

When playing a round you can easily add throws for each golfer. Additionally, you can associate each throw w/ a penalty or make it as a putt. This can be done in the drop down interface after the throw is added, or by toggling on the "red flag" for a penalty and/or the "blue disc" for a putt before pressing the "+" add button. This option is simply a shortcut provided for those who don't want to use the drop down on every golfer while playing.

After you've played your game, you can send a complete score card to whoever you want via email. Additionally you can attach a CSV file with the results of the round. If you would like to share only the CSV file, you may do that as well.

What's New in Version 1.05.6

Version 1.05.6
- Fixed a bug which was causing user Authentication to fail when
trying to write a review.

Version 1.05.5
- Fixed a bug which crashed the app whenever a golfer was deleted
while a round which included that golfer was selected under the rounds tab.
- Fixed another bug which was leading to crashes when deleting a golfer under
circumstances which are not worth going into.
- Fixed an interface bug which occured during low memory situations
while generating a score card.
- Minor update to database.

Version 1.05.01
- Fixed a bug which was causing crashes during score card rendering or
shortly afterwards.
- Added a message to the email generated when sharing the score card
and/or CSV file.
- Fixed an issue which sometimes caused the Tab Bar to loose it's selected
tab while the score card is visible.
- Fixed an issue where the Calendar was displaying without images on certain iOS
- Migrates data to a new database schema.
- Fixed a variety of course review issues.
- Changed the default par for new courses to 3 instead of 4.
- Added an "End Round" button at the last playable hole. All this does is set the
date the round was finished on and returns you to the rounds screen.
- Disabled the ability to access the hole launcher while editing a round's name
and/or end date as doing so could lead to the user accidentally "undoing" all the round
data entered.
- Remaining throw's numbers are now update correctly in the drop down
view when deleted throws are removed.

Best all around Disc Golf app

I downloaded this app soon after it was available and have been very impressed. The course locator works great with the map app. You can save all your courses that you play. You can save your rounds. The scoring is better than others, your can mark putts & penalty throws. Having the ability to edit the score incase you input the wrong info is helpful.

There have been some bug issues but the creator of the app has an app forum to list problems or suggestions.

Don't bother with any other app.

This is the one you need if you play 3 or more rounds of Disc Golf a week and like to travel and play courses not in your immediate area.

App. Simply does not work. Can't edit scores, can't import courses, no support, contact information all changed, buttons unresponsive, etc. Really, America... Don't try it. This app needs to be removed from the store. Let me be clear... It does not work.

This app is the biggest waste of money in the app store! I would give it less than on star if possible
