The doorbell rings, but you’re not expecting visitors. With the iDor Mobile™ app, you can immediately see who’s at your door. Using your iPhone or iPad, you can now communicate with your visitors from your home or remotely on a 3G/4G/LTE network.
• When someone rings your doorbell or presses the call button, an image automatically appears on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Apple Watch. You can now talk directly with your visitor and decide if you want to open the door.
• If you have multiple cameras installed, you can also switch between interior and exterior views of your home. You can use a soft button to call up the elevator to your floor or even your apartment.
As long as you are within the wireless range of your home or are accessing a 3G/4G/LTE network, iDor Mobile is always ready for you — it’s the most useful innovation since the invention of the doorbell!
All you need to control the iDor Mobile app is the controller, an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple Watch with Version 11 and up, a Siedle or iDor Mobile video intercom system, and a wireless or 3G/4G/LTE connection. Is your intercom system older? No problem — iDor Mobile is compatible with most video intercom systems

now reliable, but with niggles
Latest version fixed connectivity issues for me, and the new default to speaker audio is a good change.
One issue I get every time I open up the app now, however, is a notification that the server settings and local settings are not in sync. This is intentional, as I have customized my installation via some settings modifications— adding some additional feeds, etc., and I don’t want a fresh sync which will wipe these out.
I am grateful that hat the app offers the ability to customize settings, but this nagging pop-up cannot be suppressed —and thus it makes using the app utterly unusable if you have customizations. There needs to be a switch “Automatically check for server update” which can be on by default, but turned off if user chooses.
Worst app I (have to) use
This app is a disaster, costs me thousands of dollars in tech time trying to get it to work properly with Siedle door systems. It consistently has SIP issues and crashes after a few moments. These developers are rank amateurs. It is shocking that an established company like Siedle cares so little about their customers and reputation that they would continue to work with these developers. Developers cannot figure the problem and Siedle does not respond. Shame on all of them. If you are lucky enough to have an alternative, for God’s sake choose it.
Because of this app i was able to get my door calls from home while away on vacation.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
