iFlash Touch, a free companion app, lets you study the flash cards and decks you've created using iFlash on your Mac. Sending decks to your device is simple, since iFlash Touch uses your existing home wireless network. No need for external servers, web sites, or any monthly costs!
To send decks from iFlash to iFlash Touch, click the "Export" button in iFlash on your Mac, select "iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch", and go. Once you've studied on your iPhone, simply repeat this procedure and iFlash Touch will sync back which cards you have memorized into iFlash on your Mac.
iFlash Touch supports most of the features of iFlash, including all three memorization modes (Simple, Score, and Interval), and unlimited card sides. Note that images and audio are not current supported in iFlash Touch.
Enjoy studying on the go!
What's New in Version 1.3
iFlash Touch 1.3 has support for iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and iOS 8. Hooray!
Thank you, David...
...for bringing this back! I hope it remains updated for many, many, years to come. Five stars because it “just works” flawlessly, and does what it is designed to do with ease and simplicity. I would like to see a way (an optional feature) to practice writing in an answer, and then check it with the already entered correct response (the program doesn’t necessarily have to be able to check for you). Also, you may want to put dates on your updates listed on your website, as well as update your copyright date to the current year. This would instill more confidence that the app is alive and well. Just some suggestions!
Great app, though irregularly updated. Just needs iCloud integration
Glad to see this app finally updated; I had given up all hope and moved on. Unfortunately, none of the other options worked until I came across this oldie, recently updated. Really an excellent program, except that I would really love to see it incorporate iCloud integration like Mental Case (though integrated better than Mental Case, which has a really hard time working with larger libraries).
Good to see some love
iFlash has always led all flashcard apps with its simple but fully functional interface. The recent iPad support is good to have. It would be even better if it remembered your place when coming back after it gets booted out of memory. Also, it crashes when clicking on the "All" cards button. But at least this is easily avoided.
