NOTE: This app is for use with Griffin's iFM radio receiver, available online and through many local retailers.
If you own Griffin's new iFM radio receiver, you need this app to make it work. iFM Controller is the interactive radio tuner that uses the iFM radio receiver and your device’s Multi-Touch™ display to hear FM radio on your iPhone or iPod touch.
Tap to Seek forward and back for stations or use iFM Controller's Manual Tuning Knob to select a station, then tap to save and recall your favorites. It's the intuitive, hassle-free way to play FM stereo on your iPod or iPhone.
• Developed for use with Griffin Technology's iFM radio receiver (available separately)
• Intuitive and hassle-free radio tuning for users of iPhone and iPod touch
• Tap to find stations, tap again to save or recall your favorites.
• Big knob for manual tuning
• Use internationally; iFM supports all 3 major FM radio ranges.
Thank you for your patience! A change in iOS 5 caused the issue many users were seeing where the hardware stopped working when the app was pushed to the background or the screen was turned off. This update includes a fix.

YES you need Griffin FM device BUT works great on my iPad mini
Is working without any issues - on three devices - my iPad 3, iPhone 4S AND yes an iPad Mini 1st Gen - all devices using iOS 7.1
FIRST for ANY device you need the Griffin Tech device NOT just this app - WHY? because Apple did not build an FM receiver into the iPad or iPhones (some iPods do have them) - the Griffin device is an FM receiver . . . This software only operates the device on you iPhone/iPad.
SECOND - works fine with “lightning connector” - using on my iPad Mini 1st Gen - iOS 7.1 BUT - you need the Apple brand "Lightning to 30-pin Adapter" (0.2 m) - (I’ve not tried it with any other adapters so can’t verify those.)
THIRD - I am using the Apple ear buds with mic which came with my iPhone have not had any issues
Total 180 finally added multitasking
Yes! Multitasking support rocks much better guys! Just a thought, I wonder if it is possible to connect to the media controls that most music apps use so that one may switch between favorite stations and/or get info on what is playing in the multitask bar.
Finally it works great again!
Update now good! Full radio with phone function. Still no iPhone headphone jack or side volume buttons. But much better now!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
