What's New in Version 21.0
This is a Major Update:
- Completely new interface built from scratch.
- New UI design adapted for iOS8, light and gorgeous ;)
- iGeeky is now a lot Faster, much more Stable and reliable.
- Solved a lot of empty feeds.
- Solved several bugs: Articles load a lot faster, dragging a view is now flawless, feeds are now updated at a shorter time interval, native pull to refresh, native sharing and a ton of other UI improvements.
iGeeky is, well, Geeky!
iGeeky is one of the first aggregators I picked up and I like how it is set up. So I purchased a premium package. And I've been going along my merry way, reading the Tech rags every morning. I noticed that over time, the formatting started to change... then the ads started to increase. They have gotten so bad now that I have trouble reading the articles for the ads are now intrusive!
I've written to the developer, but have not received a reply (probably in part because I don't use social media.) But these ads are really affecting my morale and they also affect the apps's performance. Hopefully he'll read this and do something about it.
This would have been a 5 star review, but it is getting worse and worse and soon, I will be among the departed.
Best Tech App I Have Used
Title says it all. I get every tidbit I could ever want from tech news to gaming and more. However it does still have a few bugs hear and there most of which now have been squashed and the few that do remain are rare at worst and it just makes the app even that more awesome I look forward to additional improvements to the app including less of the same articles popping up and filling all I can view for the day.
Thus far, I have to say iGeeky is outstanding...quite impressive to have many relevant tech sites all easily accessible in one place.
I paid the fee to do away with ads and open more availability.
My only complaint is the left bar staggers when opening and closing...instead of opening and closing smoothly...could be a problem with my iPad 3 not up to current expected hardware specs.
