No Problem with my iPad 3
I have been using the cuff with my iPad 3 with no problems whatsoever. It has been 6 months now and the app has conveniently stored all of my data with no losses. I do have to re-pair the two in occasion, but that happens with all of my Bluetooth devices and I can't say Apple updates aren't to blame. I love that the cuff holds a charge forever. I have only had to charge it 2 times in 6 mos. The app is very user friendly. You can even add notes on each test to really narrow down that event or meal which elevated your bp. I am looking forward to connecting my activity tracker to it. Common sense tells me that I would save myself a headache trying to use this app and equipment with a newly develop device like my iPhone 6+ until the bugs are worked out.
Congratulations, managed to break it
This current version no longer works with my BP monitor under iPhone 6/iOS8.1.1. The developers managed to break the app as it did work with the previous iHealth version. In the Bluetooth setting, the BP monitor is listed at the bottom (in the not connected, no info "i" button present; no way to hit " forget about this device") and I can't get the device to be listed in the "recognized list", let alone have it connect to BT. No matter what, it keeps telling me "the device needs to be within range..." while I have the BP monitor within a few inches from the phone. Back to the drawing board to please figure out where you steered off. Thanks.
Still syncs with my watch and other Bluetooth items but halfway through most syncing, the app crashes, sometimes losing the data already transferred, sometimes not. Difficult to go between different devices via Bluetooth; ex: if I just weighed myself (connected via wifi) and then I attempt to sync my watch, the app will repeatedly sync to the iHealth scale. Same with the BP cuff. App comes out with regular updates and I keep hoping this issue will be fixed. Company would be wise to fix it before Watch comes out because I doubt it will have the same syncing issues.
