I'm about to start using Pandora.
So, I've been using iHeartRadio for years now. I switched from Pandora to iHeartRadio and was instantly in love. However, the newest updates have really annoyed me. I can't have multiple stations dedicated to a specific song if I already use the station dedicated to that band. Example: I want to listen to a radio station dedicated to I Won't Go Home Without You so that I'll have that song and only songs that are similar to that specific song. But after the update my station dedicated to that song was gone and I was just left with Maroon5 Radio.
Also, I understand that iHeartRadio needs money but I cannot afford it. Period. No way. I am completely fine with the ads they play but I am very upset with the new app setup to SPECIFICALLY accommodate people who have bought a subscription.
Those are my complaints. It's frustrating to have to right a review like this. My brother and I have had an ongoing argument for years between iHeartRadio and Pandora and sadly I may loose this argument.
So sorry! Oops, Retracting statement
I feel like a fool putting up a bad negative review. It was this users error that cause me to put up the negative review.
iHeart Radio is still awesome.
What I'm sorry about is the change I've seen taking place with iHeart Radio app. As with a lot of people, I really came to like iHeart Radio, a lot. It was my favorite, I've told so many people and now a lot of friends & family like it as well. My point is, I'm a free to use customer and at face value it might seem that I'm of no use to iHeart as I don't pay, but I have recommended so many people that do. But no more, they have taken away my stations that I have save and have limited my FREE to use options, so I choose to not use iHeart Music anymore and as so, I will not be recommending iHeart Music anymore.
What can I type. No complaints being that it's FREE! I have no problem when the format is changed either. I find it challenging & see that iHeartRadio is just trying to please their customers paying or not. Either way thank you iHeartRadio. You're simply THE BEST! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Especially when I go to gatherings. When they hear what I'm listening to & ask what I'm listening to I know they want the artist name or the song. Instead tell them iHeartRadio. A few of my friends & relatives paid for a subscription to iHeartRadio after I introduced them to it. I should be getting paid for advertising for you guys 😂 However I'm fine with listening for FREE!🤗
Again thanks for being THE BEST!
