Welcome to iJuniorGolf™, a parent’s guide to junior golf instruction. We created this app for kids of all ages and skill levels, really anyone interested in the game. Our goals are to introduce kids to golf early and instill a love of the game, which is a game and should be fun! Because kids absorb information differently than adults, this app helps them learn visually and improve quickly with fun drills, games and trick shots. We purposely avoid technical golf-speak, which can be difficult to understand and leads quickly to boredom.
We give parents a game plan when it comes to helping your kids, putting over 100 video lessons in the palm of your hand. With short, manageable lessons, iJuniorGolf™ helps the parent be consistent and prevents “over-teaching.” Each lesson provides the parent with specific focus, so the student can work on one thing at a time. Most importantly, iJuniorGolf™ gives parents the confidence and ability to teach golf fundamentals correctly.
The iJuniorGolf™ app is organized by shot type (putting, chipping, driver, etc.). We emphasize solid fundamentals, with each category providing visual demonstrations of the golf skills necessary to make each shot, including grip, setup and swing. The app also includes sections addressing Common Faults, as well as Motor Skills to improve overall athleticism benefitting the golf swing. In addition, the lessons include tips for adjusting for skill level.
iJuniorGolf™ was founded by Nick Kumpis, PGA. Nick currently runs the teaching programs at Santa Ana Country Club in Southern California. Nick was recognized as a U.S. Kids Master Kids Teacher in 2011 after being named a U.S. Kids Top 50 Kids Instructor from 2008 to 2010. Nick was also recognized in 2011 as a Golf Tips Magazine Top 25 Instructor. Nick has worked with some of the top instructors in the country, including Mike Malaska (Golf Digest #15), Hank Haney (Golf Digest #11) and the late, great Hall of Fame Teacher Jim Flick. When creating iJuniorGolf™ Nick consulted with other PGA professionals and condensed 13 years of teaching juniors into the games and drills that kids enjoy and respond to most.
Thank you for choosing iJuniorGolf™ - I know your junior will enjoy learning this way.

Ratings and Reviews
Nick Kumpis, the creator of this app, is my golf instructor and he is really, really good.
Also Nick is recognized by the PGA as one of the top instructors for kids in the country. The teaching in the app is very well done. Both in the app and live, he teaches things in a way you can readily understand. I can tell you from experience that his drills very much work in helping you develop the right technique for a particular shot.
Great concept, Great practice
***Jan 2015 update*** New version updated, they fixed a few misspellings and videos that were hard to see from original. It's like having your pro in your pocket to give you drills and what to work on. Also, don't let the "Jr" fool you. These drills and faults and fixes section will help golfers of all ages get better. Having text to describe drills helps also.
This app is so easy to use and super informative. My 3 year old is just getting into golf and I can already tell we'll be using this a lot!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
