* "Any prosecutor will tell you that the most important part of a trial is selecting the right jury. I have been using iJuror for about a year, and the results I've had are nothing short of amazing. I also love the fact that the developers are open and responsive to adjustments that benefit the trial lawyer. The app just keeps getting better. I owe it to the people of my county not to ever try another case without it. And I won't." - Jason Goss, Prosecutor

Need for ability to collaborate

Don Jemela

Great idea, but unless I'm missing something, this concept lacks the ability for collaborate during the void dire process. This app makes for a very helpful digital seating chart. However, the rest of the equation would include real time note taking by my staff. If my assistant is using the same app, does this require all names to be manually typed twice? At the end of void dire, we have to compare notes on different devices? If the developer could figure out how to sync the devices during void dire (perhaps similar to google docs) or perhaps move to an online model that supported collaboration, then my assistant's notes would be available to me while I am asking questions. Figure out how to deliver that and now we are talking about a $500 app. Nonetheless, this beats a paper seating chart, and I look forward to using it.

Good but could use some work

I just finished a 2 day jury selection--panel of 70--using this (or any) app for the first time. On the whole it was positive, and I will never go back to sticky notes. I am hoping that they will make some upgrades and add some features, however, that will make the app easier and more useful.

POSITIVES: No sticky notes! Super easy to keep track of everyone and know who is gone and who is still there. Very easy to add notes for jurors after they have been entered into the app. Easy to flag "likes" and "dislikes" as you go. Also creates reports that can be sent to client, saving time.

NEGATIVES: Can't use it on the fly or while you are questioning jurors. Takes a while to enter demographic information, and scroll wheels are a little bit limited and awkward. Seating chart should be more customizable. Should have a general notes page to write questions or topics for discussion, and the custom questions feature should be easier to use. It would be nice to have a way to mark multiple jurors on a given question at the same time, instead of having to go into each juror one by one.

Overall a positive experience, and I will use it again. With some upgrades it would be worthy of more stars.

This app crashes and loses data. Nice try, but it does not work. Not worth the price. There's no customer service, either. Specific problems include crashing when trying to email jury information, loss of data when forced to delete a juror because it was placed in wrong position on the jury by dragging and dropping into the wrong slot, and loss of alternates when deleting one that was incorrectly added.

This app needs some undo commands, and also needs to allow undeleting deleted jurors or struck jurors.

Suggestion for upgrade, add ability to have more jurors on panel (currently restricted to a maximum of sixty jurors) by adding more rows and columns. Also add ability to have more than two parties.
