Description

iMail is an email organization app that hopes to efficiently and precisely organize your emails and your life.

iMail provides you with three different modes of viewing your emails based on what works best for you. The three iMail modes are:

- People View
Allows you to organize emails between you and other person

- Conversation View
Allows you to organize your emails between you and more than one other person for a conversation-like thread of emails

- Attachment View
Search, manage, and delete all attachments that enter your inbox

With Quick Reply, sending off a quick email has never been easier and only involves hitting send. If you have more to say, enter Compose mode to get a full screen text box for sending longer emails.

Search all iMail modes depending on what you’re looking for. You can search within People, Conversation and Attachment mode with ease.

Most Email providers are supported by iMail:
- Gmail
- Yahoo
- Hotmail/Outlook/Live
- Me/Mac/iCloud
- AOL
- …and many more!

Thanks for your support of iMail and please contact us at help@imailapp.com if you have any comments or concerns. iMail is available on Macs running 10.8 and higher.

Customer Reviews

Wish I could try it

The screenshots look promising, so I installed the app. Tried to connect to my work gmail account. Logged into my Google account, gave iMail permissions when prompted. iMail popped up a message saying that Google permissions were revoked. Had I clicked the wrong button? I went to my Google account to check, but the iMail permissions were there. So maybe a fluke, I thought, and uninstalled the app (completely) and reinstalled it, tried again. Same result. At that point I tried to contact iMail support. Filled out the form, tried to submit it, got a message saying the information could not be submitted, please try again later. I did, mulitple times over 2 days, same result. So I gave up.
I can’t submit this review without entering a rating, so I’m entering a neutral 3 stars, since I can’t actually try the app - that’s only fair, as it may be great, if you can use it. If someone from iMail reads this and wants to contact me and help me get the app working, I’d welcome that and happily revise this review.

Lot of Promise

This is a brand new app and it shows. You are limited to one email account, can’t print, does not synch drafts and support can be very slow. Having said that, the concept is great. You can quickly switch from a topic orientation to a contact view. I will continue to use and follow the app and hope that its shortcomings are corrected as it grows up.

Nice and Simple

Im very impressed by the simplicity of this app yet it still gets the job done. I do hope they add more features and update it often.
