SLOW but a great app
I love this app but it takes FOREVER to open and I have to sign into my recipe box every time. This gets old quickly. Despite the slowness of this app I like using it.
Update: this app continues to have issues. I typed in "pizza" and it brought up lots of recipes and I was scrolling through them all until the screen just went white and said "this search has no results" and wouldn't go back to the screen with all the recipes. I tried again and this time it wouldn't even bring up the recipes. Then when I searched something else I could get to the recipe but I couldn't read the reviews- and sometimes the reviews aren't even an option even though you can see them through google. Lastly, sometimes when I open the app it FORCES me to go to the app review site and you can't tap out of it to just get to what you need. That is not friendly. I love FN and I've been a loyal fan of their stars and recipes but this app needs work.
I do enjoy this app it gives clear precise directions and allows me to keep my pantry rotated by using the items I buy. It always there when I can't figure out what to do for dinner. I'm able to invite friends over and try something new, We use it to do travel meals in one another's home. Thank you for the pictures it gives us something to strive for our plates are prettier and more appealing. And it allows each of the girls to choose their strengths, or if we're feeling adventurous we can play to our weakness and build new skills. No matter what it allows us to play with our food!!! Thank you for such a beautifully designed application. The LCNM GIRLS
I love getting inspired by all of these dishes. One thing I didn't like about the app is every time I select a recipe and want to go back to the large group, the search engine pops up on my iPad. (May be operator error also but I still haven't figured it out after months of using it.) A little annoying to have to clear that every time. Also it took a bit to learn how to add recipes to the recipe box, not very intuitive. If you could just tap recipe box and have it automatically added would be nice. I would think the recipes would already be categorized and go in the correct folder. Other than those little things, the program works great and has helped me find new creative ideas for the kitchen.
