When The Corporation causes all the suns to go out, a small boy named Inco and his strange friend, Helios, go on a galaxy-spanning quest to light the skies once more.

As they explore the planets they discover Grapples, Jetpacks, Teleports, Gravity Beams and other strange machines.

With its atmospheric ambient soundtrack and striking visuals, Incoboto is a moody, challenging, adventure-puzzler in the spirit of Portal and Ico.

Too tiny, too hard to control

Here's a quote from the game "The Corporation takes no legal responsbility for eye-strain caused by the reading of these screens". And the game itself takes no responsbility for the eye-strain caused by playing it. The titular character is mere spec of sand on my iPhone. The controls are also terrible. The left and right virtual buttons work well enough, but jumping is accomplished by holding one side and then sliding up. Jumping wile moving left or right is nearly impossible, and the game is made more frustrating than it needs to be.

The concept of the game is fine. The little speck of sand guy lives on a tiny planet. He can run around the entire circumference of his planet, reading signs, and hitting swtiches. The big fun comes from travelling to other planets and moving between them. If only the little speck of sand guy were bigger and the controls better, I could recommend this game.

A lot of potential but controls are inherently flawed

I really enjoyed the character design and premise of the game. However, the controls are hinky and non-responsive. The placement is very vague and there's no set spot that indicates jump. It's all relative to where you set your finger down. Also. Simply tapping causes you to jump. This causes problems in certain areas where you're trying to pick up something to throw.

I enjoyed the puzzles, but the controls make several of them too difficult to accomplish because when I tapped to pick up a rock, inco would jump which would throw my timing off and boom. Puzzle blown. There are also one or two spots where you're so small and close to the bottom of the screen that it kept pulling up my phone menu which interfered with seeing what I was doing.

Fun game. Fun concept. Terrible execution of controls. I'm ready to delete it from my phone.

Has What A Lot of Apps Are Missing

I've been looking for a good game on the App Store for a while. An offer came up for this game and I thought, "why not?" I'm so glad I got it! It feels like a cross between Super Paper Mario-type graphics and Portal 2-type storyline and puzzles. A lot of apps are good "time busters." They're fun, but with no real depth. But then there are apps like this, with some real depth to them. I'm about halfway through the game right now and I'm intrigued. The eerie storyline is well told for an app, and while the original controls are a bit difficult, there is an alternate control scheme which is much easier. All in all, a great game and I'm hoping there's a sequel.
