To move in game, one finger allows you to look around while to fingers in any direction (swipe left or forward, etc.) will let you move in that direction.
The digging does work as provided but you need to think about the clues in order to continue... Perhaps you can dig somewhere else, too?

What's New in Version 1.4.1
Fixed crash that occurred with iOS 5 and old Openfeint center
Can't do anything
My first "one star" review. It looks like it could be a pretty good game if I could actually play it. It kept crashing at some points so I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Now it's crashing constantly. I can't even get to where I was before uninstalling it because it crashes/closes every time I do something. Glad I did't pay anything for it, but don't count on me purchasing chap. 2 if I can't get anywhere with 1.
Such conflicting feelings
I love the game but it barely has any gameplay, it is worth playing but I wish it was longer
It keeps crashing. It crashes sooner each time I open it. Now it has caused the whole iPad to crash as well, forcing me to reboot the device. No good. And the developers do not seem to care, judging by the other reviews and the long-ago dates they were submitted.
