I miss Progress Reports...
Remember the good days when progress reports were still a thing? And that would be the only time your parent would be mad for the school year? I do. It was great. I could sit back and work at a pace I liked, even if that meant getting my homework in a day late in order to get a B instead of a C. Now schools are using Infinite Campus as a replacement for progress reports. And ever since my parents found out about Infinite Campus, I have started to fail classes. My parents are obsessed with this and whenever they can they will rush me to do some assignment and not shut up until I do it. It’s not that I wasn’t understanding things in school, chemistry is an exception, but it’s because I have always been stressed out and I rushed on every assignment to the point where I didn’t even care if I failed. As long as it kept them quiet, it was fine. Then they saw me fail. And you can guess how that turned out. And it’s not that much better with an Asian parent.
Yes. I will admit it. I’m lazy. But Infinite Campus tends to screw over lazy people like me.
So thanks, Infinite Campus. I hope you achieve your goal of giving every generation from now on severe anxiety.
I'm fine, now.
In October of 2016, I downloaded this app, as I was attempting to get all A's, and I hoped this would help me keep track of every grade. Obviously, I was right.
Although, it became horrible; I would only focus on my grades, nothing else. I must have checked this app over twenty times a day to reinsure that I had good grades. I became obsessed with the app. I wouldn't do anything outside of school, for the fear of missing a new grade. Anytime I would get something below an 85, I would panic to no end, and have a panic attack. I didn't know how to stop checking, I was determined to keep everything at bay. Once the semester was over, even during my winter break, I was on edge every minute, waiting for my algebra final grade. My teacher didn't put it in until the last day of my break.
I grew fearful of spending another semester doing the same thing, each and every day. Sure, my grades were great, but my mental health was deteriorating, and I didn't even let anyone know.
If using this app, I recommend using it with caution and trying not to rely on it, like I was.
do NOT recommend; just use the website
i got this app in the hope that it would enable me to be able to keep a faster track of my grades without the arduous task of logging in every time. boy oh boy, was i wrong. this app is HORRIBLE! it kicked me out time after time, wouldn’t “establish a connection” even with 4 bars of LTE service and 4 bars of Wi-Fi, and wasn’t even accurate on the rare times that it actually showed me my grades. i ended up using the website instead just because it operates better. i’m only giving it two stars because on the rare occasions that it did its job, it did only that; it showed me my grades. if you’re a student, JUST USE THE WEBSITE!! it may take more time but at least you’ll get all of the information you need instead of a faulty app. TL;DR, WASTE OF STORAGE SPACE. HORRIBLE APP. DOESN’T WORK. USE THE WEBSITE INSTEAD.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
