What's New in Version 3.0.11
Updated workflow for logging in after multiple failed attempts.
I'm fine, now.
In October of 2016, I downloaded this app, as I was attempting to get all A's, and I hoped this would help me keep track of every grade. Obviously, I was right.
Although, it became horrible; I would only focus on my grades, nothing else. I must have checked this app over twenty times a day to reinsure that I had good grades. I became obsessed with the app. I wouldn't do anything outside of school, for the fear of missing a new grade. Anytime I would get something below an 85, I would panic to no end, and have a panic attack. I didn't know how to stop checking, I was determined to keep everything at bay. Once the semester was over, even during my winter break, I was on edge every minute, waiting for my algebra final grade. My teacher didn't put it in until the last day of my break.
I grew fearful of spending another semester doing the same thing, each and every day. Sure, my grades were great, but my mental health was deteriorating, and I didn't even let anyone know.
If using this app, I recommend using it with caution and trying not to rely on it, like I was.
I have used this app for several years and it's a great tool that allows me to keep up with my boy's assignmentS, attendanceS and gradeS. I communicate directly with the teacher and my child when there's a missed assignment, low grade or tardy. I look at it everyday and reach out to the teacher (email) and my child (text) before they leave school so it can be addressed quickly. There is no excuse for bad grades when you have good dialogue with the teacher and student. We all stay on top of it. EVERYDAY.
When I see an issue I make sure my kids are in tutoring ASAP.
Mother of 4.0 students. We don't play with education. It's my responsibility to stay on top of their academics. I'm grateful for this app.
Even if the teacher does not post timely the assignments are listed with due dates and I confirm with my child he's turned in the assignment. They grades shows up within 62 hours or I send an email.
Needs Some Fixes!
First off, this app is great! It’s wonderful for accessing my schedule and lunch information and also grades. This is why I’m taking the time to write this. It must be a bug in the iPhone 7 and up, but ever since I got this phone I don’t get grade notifications of any kind anymore. And no it’s not something I’m doing, I have all the notification settings on both in the app and in settings. Hopefully this will be fixed! (PS I know other people are having this problem who also have the same phone as myself)
