A five-star game performing at only two.
This game, when it works, is great. Sure, it's the same thing all the time, but the story is interesting and there are enough cool weapons/armor/accessories to level up that you'll gladly waste days of your life growing in fictional power while dwindling physically, emotionally, and financially in real life.
However, the game crashes EVERY TIME I have to leave it and come back, unless I completely reboot the phone (killing the app and re-launching does NOT work). Further, as others have mentioned, it doesn't really care to save your data, whether you've backed up to your computer or not. I'm trying the cloud service now, but I can't even play the game if I switch to do something else and then come back, so I cannot attest to whether or not the cloud service works.
It's really a shame this otherwise life-draining game is plagued by so many technical bugs. Now I have to actually do things in my "real" life . . .
Top Notch Customer Support!
After failing to recover my cloud save file from my previous phone, I was rather unhappy about it, but decided to continue playing regardless. After getting into contact with Technical Support, however, I saw that they made it their mission to help me out over the next few days attempting to recover my save information. When that failed, they offered to create a save for me, restoring all the progress, though not the items, that I had lost.
This shows their true colors, and I'm truly grateful they have such dedicated people working behind the scenes to ensure smooth operations each and every day. Thank you, IB team!
Was unhappy before, now I QUIT this extremely buggy game
I hardly ever write reviews but the frustration this game caused made me write a review, at the get go the game was fun, then these updates started, I lost my character I worked so hard on and when I contacted chair, they flat out told me they cannot do anything for me to retrieve my character, let me remind everyone you are paying what I consider a decent amount of money for this app and if something goes wrong don't count on the company to do anything, I played this game from the part2 was out and loved it, now it's just a huge mess to me, I contacted their company and told them of the barrage of lost accounts i had and they DID NOT CARE, I would have given 0 stars if I had not enjoyed the game when I first got it.
