iNote App Syncs iOS Notes With Evernote, Flawlessly - Cult of Mac
We all love the Notes app on our iPhone and iPad, it's fast, beautiful and easy to use. Wouldn't that be great if we can let the Notes app and Evernote work together?
iNote does exactly that - the FIRST and ONLY app to sync iOS Notes to Evernote.
** iNote can only sync new notes after setup, your notes before can't be synced to Evernote
** iNote can only sync Notes to Evernote, not the other way
Open iNote, you will see Evernote login, and then you will see a guide, tap on the setup button on the last slide to start the easy setup process.
After this is done, your new notes will be synced with iNote folder in Evernote. Please know that we can't sync the old notes. And since new notes sync to Evernote, they will not go to iCloud.
The syncing process happens in background, so you don't have to keep the Notes app open, but it could take a few minutes each time.
You also can follow our more detailed step-by-step instructions at http://bit.ly/iNoteweb
If you have any problem, please email to firstname.lastname@example.org or follow us @voyagerapps on Twitter, we reply to every feedback.
That's it, happy noting!

Upgrading my review
Hey everyone… take a deep breath.
This app works. It is incredible. I kid you not.
I push the button to bring up Siri. I say, "Make a note that says …." and then whatever it is I want in the note. Siri says "Got it".
Then, within minutes, it appears in Evernote (without the 'Make a note that says' part, of course!). iNote:sync makes its own folder, and when I have a moment I just 'select all' and put them in my one Evernote folder.
I mean, what is greater than that?! I don't forget any thought, big or small, since I always have my iPhone.
Yes, it's a bit tricky to set up, but once it's done, it's done. I'm no techie, so I don't know about this 'taking over' something in my phone, but I don't notice anything.
If it doesn't work, my guess is that you've probably got the tricky setup not quite right yet.
It has been flawless for months and months now.
It's true that this app was not reliable in the past… in a big way.
I emailed and corresponded briefly customer service. They were responsive, and they cc'ed our correspondence to others in their company.
So their previous server problems are solved, and their update is good.
I'm no shill… I just know that this app works perfectly on my iPhone.
Working as Intended
This app is working like it should be. The negative reviews are from people that don't understand how to use this app.
When you start this app for the first time, it runs you through a setup. It installs a profile on your phone. This profile isn't malicious in anyway. It just adds a new email account to your phone. This enables a sync service that syncs the notes you make in Apple's notes app with a specific notebook in your Evernote account. That's all this app does. Once the account is setup, you'll never need the app again.
Notes that you've already made won't sync up to Evernote, and all of you're Evernote notes won't sync to your phone. But any new notes you create (as long as your default note account is the iNote account) will be synced to Evernote, and any changes you make in Evernote will sync back with your phone. I use this as a way to ensure I have a backup of the notes on my phone, and that I'm able to access the notes on my phone from anywhere using Evernote on the web.
For what it does, it does it flawlessly. It's a great app, and has been worth every penny for me. I use it everyday and it doesn't deserve the negative reviews it has.
This app worked flawlessly if you follow the directions.
Note that ONLY the notes that are on the Inotes Sync folder in IOS notes app will sync to EN. You cannot move notes from any other account into Inotes to get to EN *NOR* can you change the account that you are syncing to another name to move those into EN.
Apple has "sandboxed" the Notes app in Maverick so that you can't manage the notes in various accounts.
The best way to create, manage and store notes is to start in EN.
I have several hundred notes in the IOS notes app and I will have to copy and paste them over time to get them moved into EN.
