According to a new survey, 1-out-of-3 people admit to secretly going through other people's phones – scrolling through text messages, photos, and emails. Insecurity puts a stop to this by taking a picture of the snooper the instant they unlock your phone!
Here's how it works:
1) Click the "Set Trap" button
2) Lock your phone (works with and without passcode).
3) The next person to unlock your phone will have a picture taken of them by the front camera. And an alarm will sound if your volume is turned up! This photo is only saved to your Insecurity account and therefore, the snooper can't delete it from your camera roll.
When you log in to your free Insecurity account, you can view a gallery of all the wonderful mug shots. Enjoy!
PLEASE NOTE: If you're phone has a passcode and the user enters the incorrect code, then the app will not take a photo. For security reasons, iPhone apps cannot take photos if the phone is locked. There is no way for Insecurity to work around this so please be aware of this limitation before downloading.
This app is not intended to keep your phone or it's content safe. It is meant to deter your friends, family, and girlfriends or boyfriends from going through your phone by taking an unexpected (and usually unflattering) photo of them - catching them red handed in the act of snooping! The resulting photos are hilarious.
- Fixed bug that causes dark or black photo to be taken
- Improved photo capture speed
- Added flash to photo for increased surprise

What an awesome, clever app
I love the loud sound it makes when someone opens my phone! Scared the crap out of my girl. Hahaha. I love how the person who gets caught can't delete the photo because it's saved to your account and not your camera roll. Really great! Now it even flashes the front screen - what a great update.
Now my phone is secure!
My girlfriend always asks me why I change my passcode. I ask her why she needs it if she isn't going through my phone. Her excuse is always, "what if there's and emergency and I need to get into your phone?" Well, now I can catch her going into my phone when I am in the shower. What emergency happened when I was in the shower?! Thought so. Say cheese!
Would be great if.....
The concept behind this whole app is very cool, and its neat the way it works. BUT, in order for me to use it I have to turn off my iPhone password?! And every time I want to see who was snooping, I have to log into the program. They should warn you of this BEFORE you give them $3. It seems turning your password off so you can use a program to make sure nobody snoops into your phone is a little unsafe. And having to log into the app every time and setting it up is very annoying. I want a refund.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. As for your concerns - you don't have to turn off the password. You can leave it on, and when someone enters it correctly, it will take a photo. The reason is because Apple does not allow developers to know if a user has entered an incorrect password. If this changes, we will change it immediately. And as for logging in - this is done so that person can't just delete their photo from your account once they've been caught. I hope this clears some things up and stay tuned for updates. Thanks again.
