Has so much potential
I first have to start by saying that I usually don't take the time to review any apps, but this is different. This game could be awesome, I do enjoy it for the most part, but many of the levels are so frustrating-ly hard that I can't even enjoy playing this game. I play games on my phone to relax and wind down, but this game makes me tense and triggers migraines. No lie. I would not expect a game to be so easy that it gets boring, but for crying out loud this game is geared toward children, yet on most stages I do not even get a colored bubble that is any used to me. Oh yayyy, a green bubble when only red and blue are visible on the screen!! Awesome!! Oh, I'll just toss it over here, greaaaaat, two more green ones that I don't need!! You see where I am going with this. By the time you start getting the colors you need to clear stage, you run out of bubbles 😡 oh, and forget using each character's special item, it's some times impossible to fill the meter with the right color. Even switching out the character doesn't always help. Pass on this
Alternating enjoyable and frustrating
This game suffers from levels that are way too difficult – arbitrarily difficult. Many levels are challenging and enjoyable, especially those that require that you figure out the right sequence of moves to win. But several levels are just mean. You need to play dozens of times to (1) figure out the sequence (2) get the lucky organization of the random bubbles (3) get the right colors in your launcher and (4) hit all your shots just right. You really shouldn't have to play a level 50 times and still wonder if it is solvable.
I don't suffer from the instability that others report. Occasionally the game will be unable to launch a bubble and require a restart, but that is very rare. Frozen free fall is better - it is more creative and significantly less frustrating.
I love this game!
This is such a fun game. I play it all the time. As someone who really loves the movie, I enjoy the continuity of it. I especially like the characters and their dialogue. It's a little thing, but I also enjoy the in game music. The only bad thing I have to say about it is a fair number of the later levels are ridiculously hard. I recognize that this is a ploy to get people to spend money on power ups. I would honestly buy this game rather than downloading a free version to avoid that. Lately, the game keeps crashing, often at the worst times. I hope that problem gets fixed soon.
