It works on me


I downloaded several apps for my chronic insomnia. This one & Sleep Soundly help me sleep most of the time, both relax me. As for the end of this where he wakes you up, I always turn the volume down so low, I can't hear a lot of the words. It's more the tone of voice that relaxes me. Of course I'm always laying down, it's for sleep. For me, it's a tool. I didn't expect these to work but was desperate. This guys tone of voice is soothing . I sometimes listen to the words, but that's not the most helpful part. The main thing is to relax. I always think I'm not going to fall asleep & then I wake up & realize I was sleeping & the iPhone is silent, no app playing. Last nite I paid the 99 cents or whatever it is do I can turn off the intro

One flaw


I enjoy listening to the smooth Scottish lilt of Donald's voice and it often does work to put me to sleep. However, although I am aware that it is a free app it does make me wonder if the others in the series are also generic. This begins with an introduction to hypnosis, a bit about Donald's past and then it begins, supposing the listener is sitting in a chair. (Unlikely if you are trying to sleep). Later there is a specific part for insomnia, but it reverts back to the generic "on the count of three you will be wide awake!" - not what you need!

I've had a problem with sleeping for the longest time. Using all sorts of sleep aids/medication etc. This app has given me the ability to fall asleep fast and also helps with relaxing any time of the day. And it's all natural which is the best part! I recommend this app for people with an open mind and want a more organic way of dealing with sleep problems.
