My hatred for Instagram is unfathomable
When this app first came out it was great. I started my most popular account, bees420, a little over one year ago. When I started it, I made it a joke, however throughout the life of that account, as I gained more followers, I started taking it seriously. I could communicate with people around the world that I had never met. I made friends with people from many different countries, and bonded with thousands of people. A few days ago, I reached 17,000 followers, the most I have ever gotten on any account. Later that day, when I went to post a picture, I received an error that I had been logged out. When I tried to log back in, I received the message that I had been disabled for being against the community guidelines. I wanted to know specifically what I did wrong, and learned that I was apparently "glorifying self harm", which is completely false. I made a new account to try to get my followers back, and through the help of my friends I gained about 600 followers, but the other 16,400 people have no idea where I went. When I saw what had happened I was shaking for 20 minutes, and I wanted to die. Instagram deleted my successful account for no reason, and later I learned that they were deleting other accounts unfairly as well. Instagram has been corrupted and is no longer a good app.
Recent update has my feed loading pictures for way to long. Is it just me or is this new update really slow? It's getting on my nerves. Instead of a pic appearing in less than a second, it seems to load for 10-15 seconds. It's incredibly annoying. I am still irritated just like everyone else is, about the chronological thing. Hate it. I still like to see posts in chronological order. Instagram is for us, and not for the developers. You're supposed to listen to the majority. And the majority hates you're chronological mess. I end up missing posts from people I am following just because they don't appear in the top of my feed. And scrolling all the way down and forever to find someone's new post takes too long. Sure I can turn on notifications, but I follow a lot of people and that is a hassle. I only have notifications for friends and family. Can you please post an Insta poll and have people take a vote if they want the chronological order the new way or the old way. You guys really need to listen to us.
Okay where do I start? Hmm maybe the fact that it keeps crashing! I would open Instagram, then immediately it crashes. I had to reinstall it and login to all my account I had.
Then today I got logged out of 2 accounts saying that the owner changes the password. At first I thought I was hacked then I tried to log back in and thank god I could, with both accounts. But why did that even happen? It's so annoying.
I don't normally leave reviews on an app, unless it's this horrible. The old Instagram I NEVER had a problem with. I hate this new update. All it's doing to you Instagram is losing users of the app. JUST BRING BACK THE OLD INSTGRAM! EVERYONE LOVED IT! I'm also very annoyed that we can only have 5 accounts per device or whatever. I want to have at least 10 unlimited would be great but I know the risks of doing that. (Making Instagram crash more and freeze a lot.)
But I still use Instagram because I don't want to disappoint my followers. I'm just sad because of the new update. What are you guys trying to accomplish?
