My hatred for Instagram is unfathomable
When this app first came out it was great. I started my most popular account, bees420, a little over one year ago. When I started it, I made it a joke, however throughout the life of that account, as I gained more followers, I started taking it seriously. I could communicate with people around the world that I had never met. I made friends with people from many different countries, and bonded with thousands of people. A few days ago, I reached 17,000 followers, the most I have ever gotten on any account. Later that day, when I went to post a picture, I received an error that I had been logged out. When I tried to log back in, I received the message that I had been disabled for being against the community guidelines. I wanted to know specifically what I did wrong, and learned that I was apparently "glorifying self harm", which is completely false. I made a new account to try to get my followers back, and through the help of my friends I gained about 600 followers, but the other 16,400 people have no idea where I went. When I saw what had happened I was shaking for 20 minutes, and I wanted to die. Instagram deleted my successful account for no reason, and later I learned that they were deleting other accounts unfairly as well. Instagram has been corrupted and is no longer a good app.
Quit mimicking Facebook!
After I do this I'm deleting the app. I don't mind the new icon or the basic layout... I do mind seeing posts I saw 1-4 days ago at the top. I do mind wasting my time and data to scroll down to only see 1-2 recent posts. This change is the worst thing you could have done. You don't even have it where we can click to see posts in chronological order like Facebook does and that's the ONLY reason I keep them. Your algorithms for moments I care about first are failures because I want to see recent moments rather ones I've already seen and you guys don't get that. Majority of you users prefer that over reseeing past moments and it's obvious that you people don't listen. So I'm booting you out the door and I hope the door slaps you in the head on the way out.
I'm keeping the rating the same because you people haven't changed it.... The only reason you people did an update was to try to get a higher rating..
Hate it now
1st I want the old timeline back o own a business and use if to promote it. Customers complain all the time about missing sales or sold out items due to the timeline. It's bad for business. 2nd with all the bug fixes you guys need to fix the dm's. 3rd I was locked out of another account (a business backup) and forgot the email I used you guys should have a way that when trying to retrieve a password you ask if the owner has access to the email used to sign up. If not give an option for us to use another email and reset our password. I lost out on money due to that as well I was only locked out b/c once I started using the add account feature I wasn't logging in for a while then randomly you guys sign me out stating that the owner could have changed the password but I'm the owner. Please fix this!
