The best e-prescribing solution on the market

I’ve used a lot of e-prescribing “solutions,” and this is the first one that is actually faster than paper and is truly intuitive. It has some awesome features, such as it easily pulls in the patient’s prescription history, regardless of whether they have insurance or who was the prescriber, making renewals super fast and improving safety. As a psychiatrist, I write a lot of CII drugs, which is cumbersome, and this app makes it as seamless as possible by using the “Do Not Fill Until” date. It also tells you formulary and PA status, and you can cancel or change a Rx already at a pharmacy. It could use some further refinement and sometimes gives error messages and failures for no apparent reason, but it usually works surprisingly well. While it truly is free, I ended up upgrading to the desktop suite for $800/yr so my assistant can enter pt demographics and write scripts that she leaves for me to sign. The upgrade isn’t necessary if you don’t write a high volume. On weekends, my answering service can send me a text if a pt is out of their meds, and I can send in an Rx in two minutes from the boat or golf course. Patients are impressed because most doctors leave them SOL until Monday.

Excellent ePrescribing app!!

I am a Nurse Practitioner that rounds nursing homes and sees hospice patients, so I order a lot of controlled substances. I also take a lot of calls and order new medications while on the road. This app has been a lifesaver for me as I am not usually near a fax machine. It has greatly improved speed to care by getting my patients the medicine they need immediately. It also increases efficiency because once the patient is profiled you can prescribe medications for them in under 90 seconds. I love the app and I recommend it to my colleagues. One of my colleagues even has her nurses call me to send scripts because it’s so easy for me now. Highly recommend!

Early experience

I have been using the app for three months. It is very intuitive and easy to use. putting a patient in takes a couple of minutes but after that it’s easy to add a new prescription. The support has been very good. The support has been available and extremely useful when I need to call in. The application continues to improve.
