iProphet recreates the unique sound of the classic Sequential Circuits Prophet VS synthesizer. The Prophet VS's rareness and classic digital sound make it a mainstay for those who can find them and a seemingly out or reach dream for those who cannot. The sound is purely classic crisp digital sound that easily stands on its own, but at the same time is the perfect compliment to the sound of analog synthesizers. It brings the crystaline vintage sound of four digital oscillators and allows sculpting them using a creamy & warm multimode filter. You can morph the sound of the 4 oscillators using the joystick or the vector mode and the vector envelope.
The iProphet is great for evolving pads, sharp leads and super punchy digital bass sounds and comes with over 500 presets created by some of todays best sound designers. You can also swap presets between iProphet and Arturia's Prophet V synthesizer which allows you to work on the iPAD and finish in the DAW of your choice.
iProphet supports Core MIDI, interapp-audio as well as Audiobus technologies for perfect integration.
iProphet is also a Tabletop Ready app. You can use it exclusively or along side your favorite Tabletop instruments.

What's New in Version 1.3
- Updated Audiobus SDK for better iOS9 compatibility
Wonderful addition to any synth collection - a must have!!
Really great sounding synth, an absolute steal at 4.99. Lots of presets but easy to make your own unique sounds. Great for evolving ambient pads. Arturia killed it on this one
No support for Aftertouch or Velocity? Really?
Amazingly they opted to replace these in the routing matrix with accelerometer x & y. This makes what could be a nice synth with an external controller pretty much a joke. I contacted support and got no reply at all. Went to a forum to find out that this has been requested since it came out by many, many people and they have not done a thing about it. iSEM was worth the money even if it has it's flaws that they won't fix but I cannot say the same about this. Only buy it if you are alright with having no expressive control. I would ask for MPE control but that's a pipe dream considering they won't support things that were on the original synth. The iPad isn't a toy anymore when it come to making music. It's a shame that that's how they treat it with this implementation.
I've really tried to like this app.
But I don't like the sound of the app, and it glitches, a cardinal sin in a synth app, nor do I like it's user interface design.
