“What this application does is present you with an amazingly simple-to-use interface that shows categories of recycling, first of all. This app is so easy to use and so helpful when we want to recycle our wares that it’s almost amazing that it’s free. Thanks to Earth911 though, it certainly is free, and it’s certainly worth a download – grab it!” - Chris Burns, SlashGear

Fixed defaulting to material list if no internet
Good info, but A-B Map Route feature broken
The information for this app is great and has lots of locations to recycle everything. However, the map route to location feature seems to be broken. When looking at a location of a recycling spot on the map, whenever I hit the "A-B" route to location button when it transitions to Apple Maps app and says the location of the recycling center is right where you are, rather than the real address of where the recycling location is. So you need to manually enter in the address of the recycling location you want to go to in the maps app. If it was fixed and it actually mapped to the right location I would rate this app 4-5 stars. Hopefully they can fix it. Feel free to contact me if you do not understand what I mean and I can better articulate the error and necessary fix.
USED TO WORK, not anymore!!!
I remember using this app and it was wonderful. I just downloaded it again and went to search computer monitors and my town and nothing came up! So I entered a nearby large town and nothing! Then I entered Philly, PA and nothing came up!
So this app has all the categories but no places at all for where to go! It then tells you to read about how to search better and there is nothing to read Lol!!!! No settings, no developer info, nothing!
So I will be recycling this app right in to my recycling bin :/ such a shame because it used to be good and I see their last update was in 2013! Apple needs to remove these stale apps where developers disappear and don't care about their creations!!!
Made itself useful in 2 minutes!
Within 2 minutes of downloading this app I found a place to recycle an old gas grill that stopped working a year ago, which has been sitting there taking up space in my garage. Also found a place to recycle various type of light bulbs and batteries!
