What's New in Version 3.0
Added support for the new iPad and iPads equipped with a Retina Display
Improved compatibility with OSX Lion
It does everything you'd want it to.
I especially enjoy the option of multiple resolutions. High res is great on the iPhone, and low res is just right for the iPad 3G.
Hint: if your iPad/iPhone screen looks crappy when first installed, it's because the adjustable compression is set to "automatic"/"High", which gives you maximum refresh rate but produces terrible compression artifacts. Switch to "low" or "Lossless" for a slower but finer experience. Having the choice is great!
Definitely better than Air Display overall (a working keyboard is pretty high on my list of demands), but this could still use some work, with the main things on my wish-list being:
-Audio Passthrough (They built in support for HDCP, but not the audio that goes alongside the video?)
-Support for more resolutions
-A Pan and zoom feature for applications that are not touch-screen friendly
-Display-mirroring while utilizing retina resolutions (display mirroring would revert to desktop extension at resolutions greater than 1024x768 (stretched), so not great if I just want to access my computer from the other room
-For the app to function through a USB connection, such as if you're somewhere with poor Wi-Fi or that does not allow client interaction.
App doesn't work; ZERO customer service
These guys are losers -- don't bother purchasing this app. Once it's on your iPad, you are directed to email the driver to your Mac, but the Mac won't install the software because it is uncertified and can't be downloaded from the App Store. I'm sure there's a workaround, but repeated requests for help from their Customer Service link have been completely ignored. I tried to get my money back from the App Store, but Apple says I have to work with the vendor. Uh... hello, the vendor is completely unresponsive.
