Recommended by Gigaom. The Meditation Oasis® iSleep Easy app contains a wide variety of guided meditations to help you fall asleep and sleep deeply. You can listen to the meditations with or without several choices of music or nature sounds. In addition, you can create your own sleep program using a Playlist feature which allows you to listen to up to six meditations in one session, choosing which music or nature sound you'd like in the background and how long they will continue after the voice guidance stops. If you prefer to listen to music or nature sounds alone, a Sound Mix feature allows you to listen to a combination of music plus a nature sound, or two nature sounds together.

Best relaxation app EVER!
This app helps me sleep almost every night. Her voice is very soothing and calm. You can choose your own playlists to customize how you'd like to ease into sleep. You can also choose whatever soothing background music or sound that gives an extra helper to the relaxing meditative voice and the instructions are simple. There is even a "wee hours rescue" playlist that helps when you can't sleep in the middle of the night. I was depending on melatonin and herbal teas to sleep but haven't had to depend on them much at all since using this app. You can even have the background music or sounds continue playing after the meditations for up to two hours. But luckily I'm usually asleep before the meditations are over. It's almost like the adult equivalent of having your mom soothe you to sleep with a gently read bedtime story. Absolutely wonderful and a must for anyone who has stress (that means you because we ALL have stress). I'm so grateful I found this app and recommend it to all my friends and family (and of course anyone who is reading this review!). Sleep easy and get this app today! :)
Autogenic Relax Audio
The Meditation Oasis audios are by far my favorite for relaxation, meditation and sleep. I find Mary's voice to be soothing and relaxing, and Richard's music is what I would have liked to compose, had I the talent!
Last night I was listening to the "Autogenic Relaxation"audio. Normally I'm usually completely out after the first five minutes or so, so never really have "heard" the second half. Last night I happened to reawaken, and heard material that I hadn't (consciously) realized was there. I made it a point to stay awake for the whole thing, so my "conscious" self could understand what my "unconscious" self has been experiencing all along (I'm not entirely sure I have succeeded in this yet).
The only sleep app you'll ever need
Mary Maddux has the most wonderfully soothing, loving and accepting voice I've ever heard. This app displays this to its best advantage: it's perfect in every detail. You can, for example, create your own playlist from the tracks available, your very own customized experience complete with nature sounds and/or music, and there's even a middle-of-the-night rescue track, for the times you wake up at 3 am, say, and your mind starts racing with garbage that you can't do anything about while you're supposed to be SLEEPING. Beautifully thought-out app, cannot recommend it highly enough.
