Fix Garmin Connect Connectivity
I still love this app. Solid.
Awesome, I love the updates!!!
Still unbelievable, love it. Love the charts and quickly seeing miles on my multiple shoes. But the developers have not implemented anybody my amazing ideas :)
Love this app. Love it. LOVE IT. And when I get crazy ideas I email them and they always respond. Always.
Still love it!
Still love it since July 2012. Gave feedback requesting less Pace noise or the ability to average it. Always get emailed back within a few days. Developer requested CSV data to help them improve the Pace noise I am seeing. Said its device dependent and they will fix it with this feedback. Love these guys!
Love it still.
The app developer emailed me back immediately after I have him a couple polish suggestions. Such an awesome running app. I LOVE the charting capability right within the app.
July 2012 day later
Ran with it tonight, first time... Love it. Left Runkeeper app because it didn't pair easily with my Polar H7 HRM Bluetooth for iPhone 4S. This app is awesome and auto shares with Runkeeper site so I don't loose any history; pick right up where I left off!
Hooked up immediately to my Polar H7 heart rate monitor. Great look and feel. More later after I use it.
Not good for the Apple Watch
This review specifically focuses on the Apple Watch version. First and foremost the promised update for the Apple Watch 2 to provide standalone support has not come. After promising it for the end of last year the developer has gone silent.
Support is terrible, support requests regarding bugs go unanswered through both email or Facebook posts.
The current version for the Apple Watch is not great. The phone app and the Watch app get out of sync easily. Multiple attempts need to be made to start or stop a workout. Sometimes both just get completely out of sync and the only way to recover is to delete the app from Watch and phone and reinstall. Workflow is kludgey. If you want to change the workout type you can't start the workout from the Watch. You first have to open the phone app, change the type then start on the Watch. Those that switch between treadmill and outdoor run a lot I often record the wrong type of workout, which is a big deal because one uses the gps the other doesn't.
Excellent except for Apple Watch
I truly think this is one of the best running apps out there. For interval training I don't think anything beats it. The workouts are incredibly customizable and the data that you get out at the end is incredibly detailed.
Unfortunately, the Apple Watch interface is incredibly unstable. Plus you can't start and stop workouts from the watch. Personally I'd like to put my phone in my running belt and darken the screen for the duration of the run. It would make the battery last longer and I wouldn't need this thing on my arm that I need to look at for data during the run. It's just a stability problem they need to fix.
