Turns your iPad into a Caribbean steelpan drum. It's a fully mapped chromatic Tenor steelpan. If you miss a note region, a miss strike sound will be played. It can also teach you how to play a song with an interactive game, just follow the mole! More songs, tunings and other steelpans to come.
Works of course by touch, but you can learn how to make some drumsticks for this app too: http://bit.ly/istick

What's New in Version 1.1
• Stability Fixes
• Faster Response Times
• Cached Audio
• Softend button highlights
Now address the graphics
New version works nice. Next version should focus on better graphics and an actual lead pan configuration. In other words, it should looks like a real steel pan. Your circle of fifths approach is like a spiderweb lead, but why sample and implement the real thing?
I just got it and it works great. I have the ipad 2 and it sounds just like the real thing. I love how the little gopher teaches you a song but it's only 1 song. So I got the digital pan app too. Love them both!
Just like the real thing
Great app! I have it on the iPad 1 and it runs smoothly, never crashes, and sounds pitch perfect! The note layout is just like the one on the steel drum I play!
