just what I was looking for...

My wife is undergoing chemotherapy, but also at the same time under the case of a Naturopath who is prescribing 7x/day of 16 different supplements -- all different amounts per dose. Many times/day she has to take almost 30 capsules at a time. But it is helping her with the cancer and the symptoms, so we are doing our best to keep track of all the bottles and reorder before we run out. However, with that many supplements and doses, it is a NIGHTMARE to keep track of and several times in past few months I have waited too long to reorder and risked missing a day or 2 as a result. My latest attempt was to create a spreadsheet that automatically reduces inventories for the proper amounts for each day she take them. Kind of a running inventory. But even so, I'm still having trouble ordering on time and projecting how many days supply I have.
Enter the "iTake" app for the iPhone. This app keeps track of exactly how many of each supplement I have on hand, when to reorder, how many days supply, the cost, supplier, etc. Just about every thing I need to keep track of is done for me, once I enter the daily doses, frequencies, bottle size, etc. of each supplement. I'm very impressed! Whoever wrote this must have needed exactly the kind of control of keeping supplement inventories and reorder points straight that I have. Bravo!

Decent app but needs a way to track how many mg I'm taking

I like the app but I'm looking for a way to also track how many mg I'm taking a day as well! If you could add that it would be an awesome app!

I know tons of people looking for an app that allows us to track how many mg were taking a day and so on.

Horrible app

The app keeps crashing any time I type anything. Sometimes it gets all the way into adding a supplement, and I think I might actually save something, then it crashes only to have to restart the vicious cycle again. Save your money.
