“This app hasn’t received enough ratings to display a summary?” WHAT THE?

Ol' Mac II Dude

Something must be very wrong with the App Stores’ rating system. I say this because I’ve owned this GREAT app from Griffin for at least 7-8 years, and I can honestly say this a perfect recorder in every way — it’s super simple to operate, gives you 3 choices of recording quality, and also allows the user to email (as well as text) the file. Clearly, the App Store is currently completely mired in over-selection for apps, and I’m sure there are comparable recorder apps — yet all I can provide is a solid 5-Star rating for iTalk. It’s hard to believe how this app is as great as it is even without paying for the Premium Version; I’d gladly pay the couple extra bucks for the upgrade if I used it more than I do — I mainly use it for doctor visits so I can keep an accurate record of the usual information overload I often face.

I don’t know why it’s SO difficult to find in the App Store, but all I can think is that this great app is buried among literally hundreds of recorder apps. Griffin Technology is a quality outfit, and this app deserves praise IMO, and sure gets my vote!

Best music recording app, ever

I've discussed this with the developers: make a way to sync recording on two or more devices for importing later into multitrack programs like Pro Tools, Adobe Soundbooth, Cakewalk, etc.

If you ever figure out a way, please don't make this app iOS 10 and above only.

Kicks arse over the Native sound recording app.

Some dolt pinhead 1-star reviewer asked, "Was this app made in the 80s?"-

What kind of review is that? Actually certain things made in the 80s beat the hell out of things made today.

But as far as THIS app is concerned? If you don't need a way to make quick CLEAR recordings then don't buy it. And the paid version is WORTH IT.

I use this app daily, to record my band practices. Or to record ideas for songs. It's only as good as the iPhone mike. But it records nice and even. Transfers using wifi via iTunes.

If your phone is too close to the drumkit, this WILL distort. Other than that no complaints. 1-star users are STOOPID... And don't know how to use this app.

One thing though- can't find the restore purchase button on the free version of this app.

Good recordings; difficult transfer...

I used the iTalk App with a recording and the outcome was very surprising for a free app. The recording was actually very clear and crisp which I appreciated very much.

However when I went to transfer it to a computer there was no button to export it there. I looked it up and it came up with either using iTunes or iTalk Sync. I thought it was a little confusing have to use an external app in order to get the audio file off.

I tried iTunes and the tab labeled App did not appear under my phone. I couldn’t figure out why so I went to my second option which was iTalk Sync.

Now I’m a little uneasy when downloading weird or unknown files to my computer. I’m mostly worried that a virus might make an appearance, maybe I’m just paranoid... Anyways I searched iTalk Sync and multiple links popped up for download. I didn’t know which one was fake or which one was real so I just didn’t download anything.

I’m stuck with a great recording on the iTalk app with no means to transfer it😅If an export option was added this app would be a whole lot better. Or if I found out why iTunes isn’t working or which iTalk Sync app to download this might make my rating lot better...
