Ratings and Reviews
Many bugs and cumbersome
Each time it starts, I am asked if I want push notifications, and after hundreds of “no”s, I would like to bill the developer for wasting my time.
Regularly, the option to submit an entry simply disappears. Have to throw away entry.
Does not allow for defaults. For each entry, I need to add jurisdiction by hand. Waste of my time.
Client matter lookup cumbersome.
Overall very primitive in options to check times and clients.
An app that really pays for itelf - and then some
I have been using this iTimeKeep for just a day or two and it has already paid for itself by allowing me to capture time that was just missed before. Long cell phone calls whiile not in the office, working at night from home, stops at Starbusks to work on a file, working at a client site. I used to write my time in a pocket Daytimer and then copy it when I return to my office in the evening when I had to be home for dinner. I use iTimeKeep on my iphone 5 which I carry everywhere so now I can easily record the time anywhere anytime contemporaneously. When I get to the office I just review the entries and send them off.
As far as the app is concerned. No crashes. Works first time every time. Very simple (KISS) but has exactly what I need.
I use this with our office Juris by Lexis Nexis law office accounting system. But don't worry. Bellefield operates independently and their customer response time is stunning.
Not an inexpensive app but perhaps one of the best investments you will make in your law practice and well worth every cent and then som
1.9. added timers. I wasn't so hot on that idea because I thought that might screw up the app by making it more complicated. But I was surprised when I tried it and found out it's even better. A wonderful implementation I would give it six stars if I could.
Once I begin to use the mobile App, it continually searches, even after the task is complete, and I've moved on to another app, or I'm not even using the phone. Which is apparent from the little circle spinning at the upper margin of the phone. So it runs down battery and uses data while the phone is in my pocket. The only way for me to stop it is to turn off the phone after every use. Which is maddening. Had Apple issue me a new phone to see if that was the problem. It wasn't. Apple, and my firm's IT staff, say it's a problem with the App. Have had this problem for three months now. iTimeKeep has been trying diagnose/fix it but can't figure it out thus far. It's a great piece of mobile software, as long as you have wifi all the time, carry a spare battery with you, and have the fortitude to ignore that circle spinning in the upper margin of your phone all day.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
