Customer Reviews

no user testing

The app was simply not tested. Some notable flaws ...
1. Every time I want to check my schedule, the app makes me wait 30 seconds while it downloads updates. Instead, these should be downloaded in the background.
2. The app forces me to log into my OTN account several times a day. Log in should only be required once.
3. Every time I want to view a speaker's bio, I get hit with a warning that I have not tied the app into Twitter.
4. My JavaOne and OOW schedules are not combined -- I have to look at two different apps to figure out what's next.
5. When I look at my schedule, it always takes me back to 8:00 am Sunday morning instead of the current time slot.

I could go on and on. The app for the Red Hat Summit, for example, was much better.

Embarrassingly buggy

If I had written this app I'd be ashamed to show it to the public. 30 seconds of usage will show you several glaring bugs.

Adding events to your schedule is super buggy, and it seems to need to download stuff every time the app is re-launched (if you kill the app, which you have to do every so often).

Constantly crashing

Constantly crashing, especially in the avenues(map) section. My scheduling does not work at all, login does not last. Overall, Ugly and redundant UI.
