What's New in Version 2.0.1
For 2.0, we rewrote Jelly from the ground up. Asking questions is now anonymous and doesn’t require an account. Ask a question, and Jelly will send it to people who know the answer. When you get an answer, mark it helpful to show your appreciation.
You can answer questions using Jelly, too. Sign up for an account, and we’ll show you questions that relate to what you know. Want more questions to answer? You can browse categories to find questions about almost anything.
We’re excited to be working on Jelly again, and we’ve got lots of plans for making Jelly the easiest and best way to find stuff out. We also think it can be a place where people help one another by sharing knowledge. Thanks for using Jelly.
Jelly Is Not a Solid
I downloaded this app after watching Biz Stone on Bloomberg TV because it sounded interested. However, I submitted a question to Jelly, and I was denied access to the knowledge from the school of jelly fish because there were too many questions being submitted at once.
I wouldn't recommend downloading this app. Then again, the app was well-designed, and it had access to lots of pictures. If you were to type in "jelly fish", a list of jelly fish pictures would pop up.
Don't bother downloading
Disclaimer: I used the original version of Jelly which was fun and quirky. This version is neither.
Jelly refers to itself as a search engine but you will have a long wait before someone answers your question. Call me crazy but a certain big search engine has conditioned me to expect answers very quickly - sub 100 milliseconds response to be precise.
This version has a whole bunch of inane one line answers to questions. The lack of quality questions and answers is troubling.
Jelly is EXACTLY like ChaCha's App was
It's awesome!! ChaCha was in fact far better than Jelly because it knew how to get answers to a higher percentage of questions. And how to get the answers much faster. And the answers were significantly better too! But Jelly is still really cool.
