Awful

Soooo Very

We have had the oven and app for about 2.5 years now. When I first installed and set it up, it kind of worked. I was able to see my oven's status via the app. The remote start feature worked, but with the major drawback that you needed to manually enable it via the oven front panel controls (not via the app) each and every time you wanted to use it. Opening the oven door disables this feature.

For some strange reason, the push notifications only tell you when the temperature of the oven is changed; not when it is turned on or when it reaches temperature or any of the other items you specifically switch on in the settings. The latest release is from April of this year. You’d figure they could have fixed this basic of a bug by now.

To top it all off, the app has now become completely useless. Maybe this because I recently upgraded my iPhone from a 6 to a 7 and had to reinstall the app? The oven shows as offline in the app but as online on the oven itself.

I have tried disabling the ovens WiFi and reconnecting; reinstalling the app; trying to add the oven to my app again using SAID and MAC numbers (get notice that oven is already associated with my account); having both devices on the same and separate WiFi routers. Nothing works and am now mad that I have wasted so much time and money (oven was not cheap) on this thing.

Bought oven for app, app doesn’t work.

We purchased this oven for the app functions like preheating the oven specifically.

The oven won’t connect to JennAir’s server which won’t allow us to use the preheating and other functions. Our oven is connected to our router which has internet connectivity. It is clearly the app/ovens fault and not user error. We’ve had our oven replaced once by JennAir and I’ve talked to them on the phone for hours.

This is a literal nightmare. I advise anyone who’s thinking of purchasing this WiFi oven to look at other oven brands. $6,000 on an oven that doesn’t work is a joke. I don’t know what the developers of this unit were thinking (oh wait $$$) when they green-lit this thing for production. It’s embarrassing that a company would release such terrible products at this price point.

Timer doesn’t work

The app is useful for preheat notifications and that’s about it. The timer doesn’t work and I can’t control the microwave at the top. I see the developer does respond that they are working on the bugs but those responses were over a year ago...wish they would actually follow through.
