It's very easy to set up a fitness tracker with the app and you get lots of free rewards that are actually great and not wastes of time and effort. As long as your not a zombie couch potato all day it's easy to get the minimum steps to get points for a day (4k steps) and you get twice as many points to track your food which is dependent on the fitness app you have, not jiff as some reviews complain about. But its very easy to add some general foods close enough to what you ate in a day to keep an approximate amount of calories but thats all a bonus. They only require a few hundred calories to count towards points plus they give you 3 days to input the food to get points so if you forget a day or two it's not a big deal. Then you also get MORE points to play fun little mind games which are worth the 30 seconds to play 3x a day and get even more points! This doesn't even count work events or special activities they do to give you even more points( which is basically money) and the points you get for joining, having a healthy bmi or at least improving your bmi from the previous years. I haven't had any glitches like others have talked about either. It's not the most seamless or pleasant user interface to look at for sure but it gets the job done
No customer service.
I seriously hate that my company or Quest switched over to this mess of an app. I’ve done my wellness screening for 3 years now and I’ve never had issues until the jiff app came in. It’s been a headache since the very beginning when I did my wellness screening in February 28 and I’m STILL waiting to receive all my points- it’s now mid June. I reached out to them in April for this issue (seeing that after waiting a month they should be updated but never were) and it’s EXTREMELY frustrating that the only way to reach them IS THROUGH EMAIL. There is NO customer service number to call. The emails are a joke seeing that it takes 2-3 weeks only for someone to tell you that they’ll get back to you. My issue has been going on for 2 months with no resolution. It’s always one issue after another I’m at my wits end with these people it’s so unorganized no one takes the time to actually investigate what is going on they’re all random people who say the same generic script that they’ll look into it, my case is being “assigned”, and that they’ll get back to me. In order to hear back from them, I have to keep sending emails because they NEVER get back to me like they said they will. Only to hear again 2-3 weeks later the same generic email- they’ll look into it, my case is being “assigned”, etc... I hate this app just wait until you get an issue and you’ll see what I’m talking about. I would advise company’s to stay away from this joke of an app.
I like the whole idea of getting rewarded for your efforts but I still have a few issues every so often, like other people have mentioned the accuracy of points rewarded is glitchy and I feel like I have to keep my own daily count to make sure that at the end of the day I get them, I have found that sometimes if you log in and out several times you finally get yours points. I also wonder why we are not allowed to use iwatch I had to actually get a Fitbit so I could participate. Jiff support takes about a week to address your issues which in my opinion is a long time and in my own experience they not always fix your problem, I emailed them on behalf of my husband for points he is not getting for downloading OMADA app, they responded that he did get them but his records on Jiff are not showing the points, so I decided to just let it go. Anyway, I do think it’s a nice idea to get rewarded and it does encourage you to do good things for your health so I’d take whatever I can actually get from it.
