Mostly great, one big issue
I've used Jillian's program for almost four years for occasional weight loss and mostly fitness and diet maintenance. Love the work outs and recipes. The work out videos are awesome and the walk run tracker is a great feature I didn't get with the online version. My biggest beef with this app is that the planner flips automatically on Sunday to the next week (starting on Monday) but doesn't allow access to the menu until Monday. I typically do my grocery shopping for the week on Sunday so this has been a huge inconvenience. I can access the next week's menu up until Sunday so have to remember to put my weekly grocery list together on Saturday or earlier. I've experienced other glitches with the work outs not loading, but not often. Keep improving on a great product!
Great app, but improvements needed
This workout plan has been the ONLY plan that has helped me see results! I don't follow the meal plan, though it is helpful having it online and also on the app. My two suggested improvements would be an activity tracker other than walking and running that could run in the background. And other cardio workout choices. The second would be during the suggested workouts each day that the exercises progressed automatically after the time allotted for them. So maybe the app would count the reps for you and countdown the minutes for each move. Other than that this app is great and I would suggest it to ANYONE. Whether you are looking to lose weight or maintain.
Good BUT could be WAY better!!
I love the way that you can track your calories and it makes tracking all the other important food facts easy!! Protein, fats, carbs, sodium... Things I never knew how to track.
How it could be WAY better is to include more West Coast foods!!! Also include the foods that Jillian Michaels is always talking about on her podcast!! Nature Path foods, Whole Foods, Eboost??? Why aren't these already in the list of searchable foods.
Another way to improve is that we were told with the price increase the app and website would be more linked... That was four months ago and still hasn't happened...
Also please add more fitness types to the list, Zumba, Body shed, body pump...
I would LOVE to give it 5 stars but there still needs to be improvements.
