Needs improvement.


The app is updated but is still buggy. If the app closes while you are logging your reps it will count your workout as completed even if you don’t log every set. I would take notes at the gym and just use the guides as you are working out. Log your weight and sets afterward. If you accidentally close the app you can’t go back and finish logging what you did.
This app lacks fluidity between screens. It’s just not as coordinated as it needs to be to use at the gym. This app really needs to be premium quality to go with the premium price you are paying to use the program.
The Workout routines and nutrition advice is on point. The Jym program on its own is very well worth having to deal with this app. The supplement science, the Facebook community, and the workout instruction is by far the best you could ask for.... now this app... lol it’s just not as good as the rest of the program. I gave it 4 stars just to see if it might motivate them to breath some life into the app. It frustrates me when I have to use it, but I love the fitness program it’s built on. It’s just easier to use this as opposed to logging exercises in the Under Armor fitness pal.

Extremely Helpful


Honestly if you´re in the middle of one of Jim´s work out programs this will save your life. There will be times when you’re at the gym and realize you forgot to do research on a workout. Well pull it right up and then you could see exactly how he describes and performs the work out.
This is my best friend! I would give this app a 5 star rating if they improved the logging of your weights and reps. Along with the calendar portion. You can only access your calendar on the website and not on the application.
Also if you don´t have a workout ¨scheduled¨ for that day, you WILL NOT be able to log any repetitions and or weight amount. This makes it difficult to come back and see how you´ve progressed or how to set up your weights for your next workout.

Please improve the ability to log in your workouts manually instead of having to have it scheduled in the calendar. Other than that it is an amazing app!

Better but needs improvements


The new update is a huge improvement over the old app. That being said, it still needs a lot of work. The tracking does not work properly. The default set number is not correct for the workout and when you add/remove sets from one exercise it does the same to every exercise in the workout. It also doesn’t always log all of my exercises. And when you look at the log all of the exercises are mixed up and on wrong days. I really want to use this app for tracking but had to default back to the BodySpace app to keep track so I didn’t lose my info. I want to use the official app and hope the bugs get worked out soon.
