Ratings and Reviews

App crashes upon pairing!

I purchased the ES898 a little more than a week ago. I picked this unit for the Bluetooth control via Apple products features. However this app, which is the only App it seems to be able to control the ES898 crashes whenever you attempt to pair with a device. To add insult to injury the few statements on the company's support page are nearly all about this crash problem! The company claims on their website that an update to the app was created, but magically it's no where to be found in the App Store. Considering how long iOS9 is on the market it seems negligent to ignore an issue that you're obviously aware of.

Useless with Fujifilm cameras

The ES-898 remote control works good on Fujifilm cameras. But I can't use the iPhone JJC Easy Switch app as it does not support my Fujifilm X-S1 camera. It only supports Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Sony, and Samsung. And the shutter does not respond on any of those settings. So the remote app JJC Easy Switch is useless for my purposes. I might as well had a radio/wireless remote.

Also, in the iPhone app, if you go into the Standard Shutter mode, it forces you to have a headphone plugged into the iPhone headphone jack, or it doesn't let you proceed. What is with that? "NO Device in Headphone Jack, Try Again!"

Does not pair

Upon pairing. The app crashes. It never pairs. Please put out an update.
