Great App but ...
I think this App handles knitting patterns like a pro. Yes, it is a bit complicated to use but that is because it does a lot of complicated things.
The problem.... it does not allow me to transfer my patterns from my iPad to iTouch without using their online storage system and even then I can only store 8 patterns on their system unless I am willing to pay for more storage room.
It seems a little sneaky that if I want to store patterns outside of this app (in JKnit Pro format) I have to pay for it. Why can't I use iTunes to transfer the files back and forth or use Dropbox? I realize they want me to buy their storage space but sheesh, I already paid a hefty price for the App twice (once for the iTouch and once again for the iPad).
Still the best
Jknit is still my favorite knitting app out there! It is so flexible, has all the features you need and is simple to use. Since I have started designing my own patterns, jknit is also a valuable part of my design process when it comes to stitch count. I simply setup my pattern in the row-by-row counter and then tap through the counter to verify my calculated stitch count.
One of best programs
Started using the lite version but quickly decided I wanted to try the pro and it is worth the price!! I can keep track of all my patterns on either/or ipad or iPhone. Love how I can input patterns and know what row, how many stitches, and how many more repeats. It is a great program!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
