What is Jobber? Jobber is software built to help you run a better service business.

Company owners: Create and/or access your company’s Jobber account from your computer, then add team members to your account so they can download and use the Jobber app to view their schedules, clock in and out, and more.

Employees: To use the Jobber app, your company must have a Jobber account, and you must be added to the account as an authorized user.

With the Jobber app, employees can:
- View their schedule, timesheets, and clients for any workday.
- Receive notifications when company owners make a change to their current workday schedule.
- Access a client's extended details, including contact information, a list of properties, custom fields, notes, payments, and invoices.
- Track their time spent on individual visits and clock in and out for the day.
- Get one-click directions to visit locations.
- Share photos, notes, and attachments right from the field.
- Create quotes and invoices for customers.
- Collect payment right in the field.
- Send copies of invoices, quotes and receipts by email.

Company owners will access their Jobber account from their computers to manage all aspects of the business, and they also have additional privileges within the app:
- Check your team’s daily schedule and see their progress.
- Create new clients and properties right from the app.
- View notes left on quotes, jobs, and invoices.
- View detailed client billing and invoicing history.
- Schedule jobs while out in the field.

Great Application For Service Businesses


My company has been using Jobber for almost a year. We continue to find new ways to use the app. Our field techs like its simplicity. There are things that could be improved in to make it outstanding but it works, it’s reliable, and it has made it easier to run my business. I recommend it highly if you have a service company.

We appreciate increasing functionality since implication four years ago.


Works well on my two year old iPhone & our Droid tablet with the Jobber app or with the mobile browser version. Jobber is growing its functionality as time moves forward. No problems.

Tried to fix the simplest thing and failed


FINALLY made us able to edit basic tasks in the app, and it doesn’t even work right. Every time I do it on my phone, it automatically switches the end time to the next day. On my iPad, the app crashes every single time I try to save a basic task that I’m editing. It’s mind blowing that Jobber is so great and can’t figure out this feature.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with basic tasks in the app. I checked in with the team on this, and this is an issue that is on our radar—we have a fix in place for it that should go out with the next app release, which is scheduled for next week. Sorry this is something we couldn't fix sooner!

For the end time switching to the next day, that does sound quite frustrating. Do you know if you might be entering a start time that is after the end time? If so, this will automatically change the end date to the next day—an intentional decision made by the team working on this feature. If this is the case, feel free to reach out to us so we can gather all feedback around your workflow. If there is a specific workflow that you're using that this isn't working well with, we can definitely look into potentially changing this behaviour based on that.
