Bug fixes and performance enhancements
Better than some of the reviews state
I have been using this seven minute workout app for about a week now. At first it was a little confusing as I was unfamiliar with the exercises, but as I found the learn the exercises page on this app, I am more familiar and comfortable at doing these exercises without having to think about what the exercise actually is.
The gripe about having only seven seconds to prepare before the next exercise may be legitimate, however, when you go into the Smart Workout section of the app, the rest time is indeed 10 seconds.
It is comforting to know that this company really reads what everyone has to say about this app. I had a small complaint about side planks being one sided only, and in the very next update the side plank exercise switches halfway in between. Thank you for reading my review.
Overall I really enjoy this app. After only one week, I really feel invigorated, more energized, and my body is visibly more well-toned. The Smart Workout allows you to customize your workout routines. New updates added more exercises from which to choose. Nice job!
Challenging at multiple levels with plenty of variety
Very nice app that keeps me challenged as I progress. This is MUCH better than any of the other high intensity workout apps I've tried. Thanks J&J for creating this app!
My only small suggestion for an enhancement is to make it so the Smart Workout either lets you browse the selected exercises ahead of time or shows you a preview of the next exercise during the 10 sec breaks so you can make sure you understand them and can do them in the proper form as soon as the timer starts. I found myself fumbling through some of the new exercises the first 5-10 secs. Having a preview would prevent this.
Great app for workout for all levels
This is a great app for when you don't have the time (or energy) to get to the gym. Even though it's called "The 7-minute workout," you can pick the length and degree of difficulty you want, and then rate how difficult it was for you after you're done.
Yes, there are some very easy "beginner workouts," but again, you can choose intermediate and difficult ones that will definitely have you sweating big time, and that target muscle building, not just cardio. In fact, most of the exercises are geared toward strength building. All you need is a mat (so as not to annoy your neighbors or get sweat on your carpet), a chair, a wall, and a few feet of room.
