Lightning DmxControl is a simple light dmxcontroller with 24 channels and 12 presets. It can output DMX through the following dmx devices:
- DMXKing microUSB
- Enttec Dmx Usb Pro.
- Enttec Dmx Usb Pro MkII
- Enttec DMXIS
- Enttec Open DMX USB Interface (not recommended)
- Dmx4all.de mini/nano usb dmx.
- Artnet 3 support (1 universe)
Further, it is remotely controllable by any Midi Controller.
It contains a Scene module now (max 12 scenes in this version).
You can create presets by rightclicking (or ctrl-click) a preset fader and choose 'Channels to Preset' from the context menu.
You can also use a MIDI remote to control the faders. To do so, rightclick a fader and choose 'Midi Learn' from the contextmenu. Move a fader on the Midi Remote and it will be coupled, as simple as that!
BugFix. The patchbay works again.
Ratings and Reviews
so far I have had no problomes with the software at all. I only suggest that they add a user’s manul for when you download it. I also await for my new USB to Dmx adpater to come in the mail and test to see how it works.
Great For a Small THeater....
We had to return an desk console to a thearter that we were borrowing it from and were in a pince. Found this App, Installed and were up and running in no time. Easy control of DMX Channels. Great Patchable features. Love to use in conjunction with QLAB to run and entire show... Lights sound etc.
Upgraded to Pro and it even better for Show run.... Still use the Non Pro version for every day use in the theater.....
Excellent customer service... Very Responsive ...
Useful for testing
I downloaded this app to help me debug an iOS app that receives ArtNet. It did the job, but it behaves strangely:
1) The sliders don't seem to transmit any ArtNet until the undocumented "Force Artnet Output: 0:0:0" menu option is checked.
2) Data arrives in large chunks, causing very un-smooth response in my iOS app.
I'm giving it 4 stars because it's a great beginning and I very much appreciate that it's here for me to use. It just needs quite a bit of work. Some documentation (help info) wouldn't hurt too. :-)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
