This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
Kännsch is an adaptive Keyboard for iOS. The layout of the keyboard is almost exactly the same as the layout of the built-in keyboard.
The goal of this project was to maximize the prediction accuracy. Typing Harry Potter in English with Kännsch would allow to save more than 50% of the characters.
Kännsch recognizes even the most special dialects and slangs.
Kännsch iOS is a product of two bachelor theses at the ETH Zurich in the Distributed Computing Institute.

To maintain the quality of the app and produce the most accurate prediction algorithms, we request to gain access to user information. If and only if you allow us to gain full access, we gather the following informations:
• Anonymous random user ID
• Every typed button
• List of the generated suggestions
• Display Touch Event X and Y coordinates
• GPS position
If you allow us to gain access to your GPS position, we can construct even better prediction algorithms for prediction based on your local dialect.
The information data is only sent to our server, if your device is in a WLAN session.
We may give the collected data to academic researchers in Switzerland or other countries.
Your privacy is essential and always guaranteed.
