Ratings and Reviews
The map has trouble working.
Other than that, it's great.
Needs some work.
The app looks really nice and the access to sports, news, social, etc all in one app is pretty cool. However, the most useful part of the app; Connect, isn't very good. It's just a browser that pops up within the app that you then use to navigate a mobile version of the website, just as you would using Safari. Except with this in-app browser, you don't get cool things from safari like the ability to remember passwords. So the eid password that you have to change every semester? You have to type it in every time you want to log in.
Also, the ringtones are cool, but I can't download them to use them on my phone, I can only listen to them.
Like I said, the app is really polished and the UI is easy to navigate, but the basic underlying functions are underdeveloped.
Good start but room for enhancement
This app has a huge opportunity to make it easier for K-State students. It is a good start but falls short in several areas.
The biggest area to help with students daily lives would be if lectures were able to be played over the app .I tried for several classes without any luck downloading it to my computer or streaming it from my phone. That would so helpful to listen while at the gym or while commuting for distance students.
The places seems like it would be very helpful for freshmen. It would be way less embarrasing to look at an app then a map like back in the day.
The calendar was useful and functioned exactly as it would on the web. This could be enhanced by having it easily added to a gmail calendar or the k-state calendar.
Less importantly I wasn't impressed with the selction of wallpapers. There were only a few and lackluster. I am excited about the ringtones but havent figured out how to save them to my iphone.
The sports page could be improved as well. I wasn't expecting the ESPN app but it would be nice to see score updates.
