Kana Card: Japanese Flash Cards for Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Kana Card is a flash card app that helps you learn the essential Japanese characters using a natural interface that feels like a real stack of notecards. Go to your next or previous card with your left thumb and use your right thumb to flip the card over for the meaning. Star, trash, and shuffle cards in your deck to optimize your learning experience.
About to board the plane to Japan? Since Kana Card doesn't require an internet connection, download the app right before your flight so you can be a natural reader in Hiragana, Katakana, and the first 80 Kanji before you land. Also, Kana Card remembers where you left off so you can have small study breaks without any hassle.
What's New in Version 1.01
I've used the free app so much, that I felt the developers deserves the purchase. This is a simple app that, if used correctly, can help you memorize the characters easily. The apps is very simple, yet, it does exactly what it should do: Help you memorize the characters.
Do NOT buy
oCan't change settings due to a bug. Program crashes and stays crashed. Also when it does work (ie on the free version only) the finger swipe to flip or change cards should be replaced with taps - or at least offer the option
