Used to be good

This app once laid claim to my "go-to" drumming app for general purposes in making music. The app had great drum-kits available which are worth acquiring if the app was kept up. It's layout was fine and what most others had but what set it apart for me was the responsive nature the app had (basically still has). However it fell hard from its throne and so did my respect for the developers of this app...after ios8 the app lost all of the drumkits I once had and rarely even opens up for basic use with the couple of default drumkits it comes with...I hope apple frowns upon these developers that have the nerve to include in app purchasing without promising some timeline of future support...especially if upgrading your iOS breaks the app u just spent money in while support and future development was cut off...the whole thing is a shame...

Not cool.

I've had this app for years and it always had 8 included drum sets. With the recent update it is now making you pay for half of the original included sets. Talk about being cheap.

Not perfect, but no one is anyway

_Cool - Beans_

Considering how difficult it is to make a quality drum app for the touch due to the small screen and obviously the lack of actual drumsticks, and considering that this baby is FREE, this app is incredible and definitely deserves the full five stars.
Legit drummers like myself may find some annoyances in the app, like the lefty flip (or lack thereof, which can be pretty frustrating if you've gotten accustomed to playing drums lefty or ambidextrously) and the inability to change drum styles, genre, and tuning. For this reason, many have turned to DrumKit Pro, with plenty of options and customizations to choose from. HOWEVER, after spending a few bucks testing out that app (this was before I found this one by the way), I felt that many of the available drum modifications were exactly alike, just with different names (somehow techno and salsa are very closely related.) therefore, due to the better standard drum kit and layout of the drum kit (meaning that the Point of view is from the person in the chair, no a bird sitting on top of his head. It's more important than you may think, especially with the limited screen size), and especially due to it being free, I strongly urge you to get this app over DrumKit Pro and other apps for drumming.
