What's New in Version 1.1.16
App works pricing too optimistic
Do they try to get more readers by showing higher prices for something you are trading in or selling?
Well, that doesn't work. 4 dealerships were each about 3k under kbb for trade in value ( kbb said 19.5 the dealerships all said 16-17.
List it on Craigslist for three weeks at $1k under what kbb said private party should be. Not one call. People LOVE honda CRVs around here too.
One dealership clued me in on the reality - kbb does not buy cars. If they did they'd use realistic numbers.
He then showed me an actual kbb paper book that is updated monthly. THAT kbb was inline with the offers I had gotten. No idea why the electronic and paper versions are 10-20% different from each other.
Better then the other one
So much better. Easy to use and pick option. No scrolling forever to find the year make and model by picture.
KBB app versus Car buying
I don't understand why KBB app shows lower $ prices and car buying shows higher. I give it kudos for running better. Does anyone have an explanation for this. Using Kbb at a dealer when they were using car buying got me into a huge argument with them on a trade in $ as well as a retail $.
