Keep In Touch

A relationship tool that helps you actively keep in better contact with the people in your address book.
Personally, I have a problem with meeting people that I really like, but losing touch with them. Most of the time, I'm hacking away at a project and living off of caffeine. So, it doesn't naturally occur to me to regularly get back in touch with these people. The problem is that when I want to reconnect with someone or ask them for advice, a familiar awkward reconnection phase keeps re-occuring. However, I really wanted to stay in touch with these people, but it was my fault that I let these relationships die. So, I did something about it--I wrote this app. It was written out of personal interest, but hopefully it helps you, too.
Prioritize your contacts and be reminded of when you might want to reconnect with someone.
A limited history of your last contacts is also maintained to help you maintain your relationships.
Great idea, but lacks some needed functionality
This app is a great idea, and is exactly the sort of thing I have been looking for. Unfortunately it has a crippling drawback. It is not aware if the phone records from the standard phone app. It only appears to be aware of calls made from within it's own interface. This is unfortunate because if your sister calls you, or you call her without opening the app, her Next Call date does nit get updated. I understand that accessing call records might just be impossible. Does Apple provide an API for it? Danged if I know. This shortcoming could be adequately worked-around if there was a quick and simple "I JUST TALKED TO THIS PERSON" button that I could tap to reset a contact's next call date (in fact, this feature would be valuable even if the app _could_ read my call records, because it would provide a way to make the app aware if I talk to someone in some other way, like using another phone, or an in-person conversation.)
Great start just missing one thing...
This app works very well, only thing is I wish you could schedule the calls 4 a specific time. I also think it'd b just near perfect if there were an alarm/alert feature that could remind you to call.
Right now you have to open the app everyday 2 see who's scheduled.
